	Let's introduce the Comic Market today.
	Comic Market Summer 2009 will be held on August 14 to 16.
	Let's start from what is Comic Market. This event takes place twice a year, in summer and winter. Recently both would last for 3 days, but once upon a time we had one day only or randomly set for 2 to 3 days. There had been a spring event. But nowadays summer and winter 3 days each have been a long practice.
	Basically, it's an event for selling personal compositions and buyers just crowd in.
	No matter from personal or group creator, they make some compositions, showing them on a narrow desk. People can have a look and buy.
	We've got quite alot genres of composition now.
	You may think that it is manga only as it's named Comic Market, actually we've got many other things. Such as games for Windows, music CDs, accessories, people's own photo book of Cosplay. Also there are commentaries on varies matter, even some train stuff. Some books are about history, some about famous idol. Mostly manga but "text only" exists. Surely the photo books use real photos. Music CD is in disk media.
	Nowadays games for Windows are hot.
	Hot for quite a long time actually. We would talk about that another time, but note that it's not manga only.
	Not only selling composition, but it's a place for Cosplay.
	Cosplay area will be opened and people can take photos of Cosplayers. Of course guys taking photos are common visitors or friends or Cosplayers of the same work.
	It's interesting to see Cosplayers of minor works.
	Cosplayers may walk around to buy stuffs so Cosplay everywhere. Sellers may be Cosplayers too, so we can have fun just walk through the place.
	Finally, we have company area.
	In the past only personal and group attend to Comic Market, but companies join for many reasons now, and the company area is quite busy. Manga publisher, PC game or character-oriented game company would attend, and many limited goods you can buy here.
	Companies joining Comic Market are more than before, you may find your favorite company.
	And not only selling but event also. Autograph session and stage of voice actors can be found.
	So that's the main stuff.
	Running a event like this for 3 days, Tokyo Big Sight need to swallow 0.15 million visitors per day. That's one of the biggest conference hall in Japan but people just jam it. People's lineup before the opening is worth looking.
	It's great that so many people lineup orderly by themselves.
	So that's the brief idea. It's very hot in summer and ice-cold in winter, quite a torment but that is the funny point. If you're coming to Japan these periods, you should better have a look. Though beginners may find that they can do nothing as there is too many people.
