PS3 Slim Announced. Reaction in Japan?
	New model of PS3 finally announced.
	Weight is not an issue for home console, but thinner and using less electricity is great.
	Launching date for Japan is September 3. Overseas will be September 1.
	There will be a number of games launching on September 3 in Japan, so the launching date just correspond to that.
	How is the reaction in Japan for PS3 Slim?
	Game users just love it. There is no space in Japan and we live in small rooms. For guys living in small flats, they no longer need to worry about the space for PS3.
	It is pleasing that the "Vertical Stand" will be available on the same day.
	Using less electricity is also important. Flats for living alone have a weak electricity system. Circuit-breaker would respond to air conditioner or microwave oven, PS3 is just the same. This is not only a problem of electricity charge.
	A price cut of ?10,000 is attractive too.
	In the past, all Japanese are wealthy. Nowadays, rich people remain wealthy but poor people are in poverty. Most gamers are young people and don't have much money, so a price cut of ?10,000 finally allow them to buy PS3.
	It can see Blu-ray Disc and has many other usages, so this is a good chance to buy one for yourselves.
	But there is one regrettable thing.
	What's that?
	PS2 backwards compatibility. Though less games coming out, PS2 is still alive in Japan. More important is the resource from the past. For someone whose PS2 starts fail to work, buying PS3 would be an option only if it supports PS2 software. It is a shame that SCE fail to grasp the chance to win a share and make everyone expect the future PS3 games.
	But some are saying that we will have PS2 backwards compatibility in the future.
