Japanese Job Hunter's Favorite Company Ranking. How About Game and Anime Companies?

Japanese Job Hunter's Favorite Company Ranking. How About Game and Anime Companies?
Nikkei (Japan Economic Times), a Japanese newspaper, had carried a survey result on its February 22, 2010 Issue. The survey was held from November 2009 to January 2010, and the target were Year 3 students of all Japanese universities who will graduate in Spring 2011.
What's the survey for?
Japanese job hunter's favorite company ranking. There are 200 ranks. And there are results of humanity students and science students, male and female separately.
Favorite company ranking huh.
Let's start from the Top 10. Here is the citation of Nikkei's February 22, 2010 Issue.

1:Tokio Marine & Nichido Fire Insurance Co., Ltd. (Insurance)
2:The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, Ltd. (Bank)
3:Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (Bank)
4:All Nippon Airways Co., Ltd., ANA (Airways)
6:JTB CORPORATION (Travel Agency)
7:Mitsubishi UFJ Trust and Banking Corporation (Bank)
8:Central Japan Railway Company (Railway)
9:Mitsubishi Corporation (Trading Company)
10:Mitsui & Co., Ltd. (Trading Company)

No game.
These are big companies and stable, that's why they're HOT.
How about game companies?
Here they're. Similar companies like SONY and Sony Computer Entertainment are included.

15:SONY
44:BANDAI
62:Nintendo
75:BANDAI NAMCO Games
105:SQUARE ENIX
109:Takara Tomy
137:Sony Computer Entertainment
173:Konami Corporation
186:Capcom

SONY is mainly for electronics, Sony Computer Entertainment is for game. BANDAI is that making toys. BANDAI NAMCO Games is for game. Konami is a whole group, not only game but runs sport club too. Takara Tomy is toy maker. If we omit SONY and BANDAI, who are not quite related to game industry, the top company will be Nintendo.
They are all large companies.
Hey! Stop talking Sega badly!
I haven't say that...
It's sad that Sega can't enter the ranking. All big makers in Japan except Sega have entered.
And there is no anime company too.
As a film company, Toei Company is Rank 181. Toei included Toei Animation, and it has "Pretty Cure", "One Piece" and "Dragon Ball".
Why there are game companies but no anime?
Firstly, anime companies are small. Anime production need not to be big in scale. There are a few large anime company, but still small compare with other Japanese big companies.
Studio Ghibli is a famous animation film studio, but it only has 300 staff.
Also, only a few anime companies have been listed in the stockmarket. Even so, after the 2000's anime bubble collapsed, some of them withdrew from the stockmarket. No student would like to join an industry that is in downturn and not noticeable.
Huh.
And the most important point is, the work load in anime company is very harsh, but the salary is low. Although Japan is one of the best country making anime, money never goes to the staff. Some people quit and no one join, that is the vicious circle of the industry.
On the contrary, why are game companies HOT?
The companies are big and have been listed in the stockmarket. And there are companies like Nintendo which are profitable and doing well worldwidely. Students feel stable about that. Also, they played games when they were kids, that maybe one of the reason.
Hope the rank of game companies would rise in the future.
