In FF13, you can increase the strength of weapons through Customization. |

Growing characters can increase the power of your team too, but that needs CP. Weapon Customization is another way to strengthen your team. |

How can we customize weapons? |

Using items dropped by enemy or bought from shop. Weapon Customization is held at Save Point. By the way, you can access shops through Save Point, so buying items and customization can be done easily. |

Inject the items to a weapon and it will accumulate some points. When the points raise to a certain amount, the weapon will Level Up. After a few Level Ups, the weapon will receive a star mark, and the customization is finished temporarily. |

After that, you need to inject a special item, and the weapon will evolve into a new form. The parameters of the new weapon will drop a bit, but it will become much more powerful after you repeat the customization mentioned before. |

If you can't decide which weapon to choose, just customize the first weapon equipped with the character at the beginning. Of course I would recommend you to find a magic-enhancing weapon for characters who always use magic, especially for Vanille. You will collect all basic weapons around Chapter 11, you may just postpone Weapon Customization until that. Collect all weaponsm then decide which one you really want before customize. Until Chapter 11, you can strengthen your team by growing characters etc. |
