Chapter 12 to 13 - FF13 FAQs & Walkthrough

Chapter 12 to 13 - FF13 FAQs & Walkthrough
We should enter the climax of FF13, i.e. Chapter 12 to 13.
Once you start Chapter 12, you can't go back to those places you've visited in Chapter 11 for a while. If you want to play missions first, make sure you have cleared all missions before starting Chapter 12.
But we can go back to Chapter 11's field "Gran Pulse" later right?
Quite late. The next chance is Chapter 13.
So Chapter 12 is long?
Not really. There is a marker indicating your way so you won't be lost. But the enemy is stronger, so you may need to get some CP and strengthen your team.
How about Chapter 13?
Enemies are quite strong, if you have not clear those missions, you may feel difficult. If that's your case, you need to pay effort in training your team. In Chapter 13, you can return to "Gran Pulse" and play missions there.
Anything we should note in battle?
Stick to basis. Use buffs and debuffs before attack. Try Break state if possible, and you can give huge damage to enemy. This strategy is effective to all enemies.
Basis is important.
However, some enemies can cancel our buffs, if that's the case buff is not necessary. Some enemies use special attack that would make us die automatically after a certain time. If your player character suffers such attack, you will game over after a certain time. In such case, assault with strong attack and kill the enemy as soon as possible. If you can't, you really need to train your team and challenge again.
No other way?
You can tackle the problem by accessory, but enemies use special attack frequently. It is more realistic to accept that you need to suffer that attack.
I see.
That's all for Chapter 12 to 13. As you won't lose your way in FF13, battle is more important. But you can win most enemy if you stick to basis. Don't worry too much, enjoy the adventure freely.
