Western Games Sell Badly in Japan Because We are a Defeated Nation
	I come to a conclusion.

	Western games sell badly in Japan because we are a defeated nation!

	What the HELLLL!!
	What do you mean?
	There are so many reasons explaining the bad sales of western games in Japan, and the essence of those reasons is that Japan is a defeated nation.
	What is your authority for saying that?
	Same thing happens in Germany too. We had talked about that in the article "Nintendo General Meeting of Shareholders 2010" on June 29.
	And the original speech by Nintendo had been posted on Big N's official site. So we just refer to it. "Germany gamer population is extremely low. Further study shows that German society hardly accept video game. Many people hate video game in Germany. Especially there are many (western) gun shooting game featuring war, and the historical background of Germany induce strong rejection to that." (from Nintendo Official Site)
	From the above opinion, Germany seems to be strongly disliking gaming itself.
	Japan has its own background so the result is different.
	Japan's own background?
	Japan launched Famicom, Super Famicom, PlayStation and all kind of console from the past. We used to gaming itself. And our characters are those have no cruelty, such as Mario. And we have many fantasy-type RPG. These made us less rejecting video game.
	Huh.
	But Germany have no such character-culture. Europe is not so HOT in gaming originally. And in such environment Xbox 360 launch so many gun shooting game, and this make Germany rejection as said by CEO Satoru Iwata.
	Germany hate those games killing enemy by guns, and this emotion spread to all gaming. On the other hand, Japanese only reject gun shooting game.
	Thinking of Germany's situation, we can understand why western games sell badly in Japan. Of course that is not the only reason but it's a big one.
