FINAL FANTASY XIV Losing Players. Version Up and Player Number Indication Cancelled

FINAL FANTASY XIV Losing Players. Version Up and Player Number Indication Cancelled
The "HOT" FINAL FANTASY XIV had a message shown after Version Up.
What does it say?
It is about the system...
This message huh.

"Number of Players in World and nearby won't be shown anymore." (FINAL FANTASY XIV Official Site)

Number of Players become confidential!?
I really can't understand...
What's the purpose?
Well, there is a site on Internet which collect data of the number of players accessing FF14 everyday. And the figure clearly shown that FF14 is losing players. And now the version up avoid that site to collect data.
How is the figure till now?
I have made a chart from that site. The figure is the total number of players in all servers, from the hour 22:00 to 24:00, this period is the peak of playing online game in Japan.

September 27、October 6: Unknown
October 4?5: Rabanastre had no server data
October 22: Data collected after emergent maintainence

Thanks for your data, I had enjoyed everyday.
These data were collected by volunteer huh.
Losing players in such a short time, still within the free access period huh.
These are figure of particular time, so the actual number should be higher.
Why SQUARE ENIX no longer provide the number of players for us?
It's just a shame to let us know the figure isn't it?
......
No other reason. The indication of player number is important for gamer to decide where they can find teammate to play with. And SQUARE ENIX cancel the indication and that's just inconvenient for gamer. The only purpose is to avoid data collection. Really irresponsible.
FF11 had shown the figure for 8 years, no excuse huh.
CEO had said he would stop FF14 service if it can't improve. You guys playing now should think about quiting. When the monthly charge start, more players would just leave. Maybe PS3 version could help but no one knows when it would launch. Maybe FF14 has no future.
Oh...
China market maybe a chance, but it may not be hot in China. If that so, the game would really stop service in near future. Of course that's you own choice, but think about SQUARE ENIX dishonest action against player, the game is not worthy to play for long time. I wish I could know more data, just a shame.

SEGA Opens an Amusement Facility in front of the Station of Akihabara

SEGA Opens an Amusement Facility in front of the Station of Akihabara
I want to introduce something I found in Akihabara on Nov 20, the launching day on Kinect.
What's up?
The ground in front of the train station of Akihabara is changing.
The ground!?
How does it change?
The construction at the electronics street had finished, and the "Atore Akibahara" has opened on Nov 19. Many shops located there.
Great.
Finally opened huh.
Many restaurant and cafe too. And at the 1st floor there is a packed lunch shop.
There is no place for us to eat packed lunch...
Maybe someday the walker zone will resume and you can eat there. On the 3rd floor you can find a supermarket with many wine.
Wine...
Of course tourist and people who come for shopping can buy something to eat when you leave. Akibahara is no longer only for electronics and otaku stuff. Atore Akibahara link with the JR Station so that's a short cut to Akihabara too.
Huh.
And in front of that, SEGA is going to open a new amusement facility.
You mean in front of the station?
Yep.
SEGA already has 3 shops at Akihabara...
You mean the old "Club SEGA Akihabara", "Akihabara Giigo" and the "Club SEGA Akihabara New Wing" opened Feb 18 this year. And now there is 1 more huh.
That's really a good location, just in front of the electronics street. Maybe SEGA would close an old shop for this new one.
Why does SEGA focus at Akihabara?
Japan's amusement industry had been in a long downturn, and many shops had closed. But that comes to an end. It's time to strengthen the business carefully, and Akihabara is considered a market which can still grow. That's what happening now.
Good news for the amusement industry huh.
Don't know when will it open but check it out if you pass by it.
