	The start of new decade huh.
	Why mention MASKED RIDER DCD...

	2011 maybe an active year for the game industry. Let's talk about that.
	Nintendo 3DS is the HOTTEST huh.
	It will launch in Japan on Feb 26. We should see a success early this year. Especially for those games not for core user such as "nintendogs + cats", "Animal Crossing", "Mario Kart", "Mii Plaza", these would boost the sales. Maybe the console will face a long-term out of stock.
	It can play DS games so old users can buy 3DS to replace the old console.
	How about PSP?
	Good in Japan due to Monster Hunter Portable 3rd. It could fight back if it continues to get new games. Now is 2 years after the financial crisis, and PSP is the best machine 2 years ago for developing low cost games. We don't see companies joining 3DS rapidly, so PSP can live on in Japan.
	How about home consoles?
	Wii is dead.
	Oh...
	Only a few games will be on Wii. Companies may already focus on the Big N's next-gen. Well, sequels hot oversea may still be made, and some games would launch multi-platform with PSP. The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword should be the final hope but it can't hit million in Japan.
	Japan sales is low compare to overseas.
	How about PS3?
	Hard to say.
	Oh...
	As mentioned when we talk about PSP, 2 years before companies shifted to PSP due to financial crisis, so PS3 games would be less this year.
	The problem last for 2 years huh.
	Well, PS3 is more easy to make sequel now. So small company can earning a living on it.
	As for Xbox 360...

	Kinect is not good in Japan. The price with the console is too high. You can only be competitive in Japan under 25,000Yen, wish they can drop to 20,000Yen. This strategy won't make any lose to Mircosoft except re-sell to other countries. But this is the only hope.
	That's all?
	There is one more thing.
	And that is?
	Mobile phone in Japan is powerful enough for gaming, like iPhone.
	Makers are doing business on those cellphone huh.
	The volume of a game is not big though. I will talk about it next time. That's not powerful enough to replace traditional consoles. But there may be new consoles develop from smart phone. Let say is Apple launch iPad with a controller, the industry may change. There maybe new comers too.
	There is rumor about PSP2.
	There is always rumor. Sony Computer Entertainment had been absorbed by Sony, so PSP2 maybe a promotion of Sony's technology such as download content and linking with other electronics. They need to maintain a good balance otherwise that would be another PS3. And piracy strategy too. But it is still hard to sell overseas.
	That's all.
	This year will be a new step. Let see how the game industry would make a revolution.
