Super Robot Wars Z2 Why on PSP But Not PS3 or Wii? SRW Problems
	I want to talk about why Super Robot Wars Z2: Hakai-hen is on PSP, and the choice of anime series featured.
	Please refer to "Super Robot Wars Z2: Hakai-hen for PSP. New Characters Debuting" for list and introduction.
	Firstly, I think the big different from the previous SRW main series is that it is on PSP, a portable console.
	It had a big chance to launch on Wii though.
	Really!?
	All expected Wii. But they choose PSP.
	Why?
	Due to Wii's market. Super Robot Wars NEO on Wii had a bad sales. And other games are facing the same problem on Wii too. On the other hand, PSP gain many users by Monster Hunter Portable 2ndG, and the previous SRW on PSP had a good sales. Moreover, PSP can add download content easily.
	If that so, they could choose PS3.
	If the battle animation is 2D, PS3 is not a choice. If they launch a high quality SRW on PS3 the cost is too high. Once you make a HD SRW the users would expect the same quality next time, and those simple SRW on DS would fail, and the whole SRW business would collapse. They need to find another direction on PS3.
	And they can't find it this time so on PSP?
	Yep. And they could never find it.
	Oh...
	As for PS2, that's already dead. If PS3 could play PS2 games the situation would be different. So PSP is the only choice. But...
	But?
	They could launch on both PSP and Wii, like BANDAI NAMCO GAMES' SD Gundam G Generation World.
	Why are they not doing that?
	Who knows.

	That's induce extra cost and the sales on Wii is tiny. This maybe the reason.
	Anyway, they had many ideas before announcement huh.
	How about the featured anime? Many new anime huh.
	This game is a RESTART of SRW.
	RESTART!?
	Of course they want to keep old fans. But that has no future. This time they collect all HOT anime recently and explore new fans.
	Could they gain young users?
	Anime audience is decreasing, especially for robot anime. No blockbuster after Neon Genesis Evangelion. Even there are HOT anime, only anime users notice, not a social phenomenon. Audience rating is decreasing and SRW can only sell by robot anime, the user must decrease.
	No future huh.
	Well, many people watch by renting DVD or through Internet, including Youtube which is illegal though. So the actual audience maybe more. In order to get this kind of users, they choose the lineup this time.
	Gundam 00, CODE GEASS Lelouch of the Rebellion, Macross F, Gurren-Lagann have many fans. Though the fan maybe overlap but there should be new user.
	And female users too. In the past robot anime is for male, but these lineup have female fans. A new target of SRW.
	Really a 20th Anniversary Title huh.
	Super Robot Wars Z2: Hakai-hen is the hope to rescue the downturning series.
	I see.
	It's lucky that MHP3 boost PSP sales, so it is very possible to succeed.
	How would be the sales?
	Super Robot Wars Z shipped 0.51 million. So they must break through the sky with at least 0.5 million shipment!

	How about an optimistic guess?
	0.6 million, and the record sales of SRW Alpha, 0.7 million is possible!
	Really!?
	That depends on BANDAI NAMCO GAMES' PR. And illegal copies on PSP is a problem too. Anyway there is a potential to hit 0.6 million.
