There will be an announcement on new work release on Dragon Quest 25th Anniversary press conference. |
![]() |
The conference can be viewed online. I'm sure there are quite a number of viewers already. |
![]() |
And they will be revealing new release of the franchise during the conference. |
![]() |
The new release, namely, Dragon Quest X: Mezameshi Itsutsu no Shuzoku will be on Wii and Wii U platform. Estimated to be release during 2012. |

Wii U? Online game? |
![]() |
There will be a graphic upgrade on the newWii U platform. There won't be a change in the content of the game. Also, its an online game itself and Square Enix is the developer. |

amen |

It's still too early to be pessimistic... |
![]() |
I'm darned sure Final Fantasy 14 shouldn't be done by Square Enix. Well, I'll drop it since its over. |
![]() |
They will screw up if its online? |
![]() |
I guess I'm not the the right to say anything since there are only vague details on the game. I'm anticipating on how will it shape up with the the online factors. Its a series coherent with the view of the world, ain't be that bad I guess. |
![]() |
Well then, does worth a recommendation? |
![]() |
umm...I wonder though. There are still other factors like the billing an stuff to consider. And its still not clear whether it is playable offline either. I can't really give a damn on it. However, it seems like there is no offline play, its quite a risk for those who are unable to play it online. |
![]() |
Ultimately, it still depends on the game itself. |
![]() |
Looking at Dragon Quest 9, I can sense that Horii Yuuji has wanted to do a collaboration play thing, especially since Dragon Quest action version hasn't been really recognized in the market. Looking at how things are going, it won't be surprising to see future franchise turning into online game. However, some changes were done in Dragon Quest 9 during the midst. The end result might also depends on the users opinions. |
![]() |
I wonder how it will turn out to be... |
![]() |
Whatever it is, isn't it interesting to see both Dragon Quest's Hokii Yuuji and Final Fantasy's Sakaguchi Hirobuko to be heading towards online games? Its interesting to see the 2 pioneer leaders of Japan's RPG-game industry to be coming out with the same conclusion. The only difference will be the outcome of the game content. |
![]() |
Will you try out then? |
![]() |
I'm still quite lost. I've already had enough with FF11 and FF14. Don't really want to touch MMORPG anymore though. But I'm really interested on the what sorts of work will Hokii Yuuji produce. Well, everything still depends greatly on the information updates though. |
![]() |
What's more, it will be compatible with Nintendo 3DS. However, I do wish there can be a cross-over of network. |
![]() |
And, there will be a Beta Test... |
![]() |
Details will be revealed soon. What does the beta test contains? |
![]() |
Let's pray that everything works... |
