I have finihed playing EARTH DEFENSE FORCE: INSECT ARMAGEDDON so would like to review this game.
The extra edition game of Earth Defence Force series which launched on 7-JUL. An oversea prodction team is developing the game.
Firstly, what is the overall assessment?

Whether speaking in terms of fun, its funny. However, there are many for me to mind, there are also too much to be questioned which lower the rating.
First of all, which are the enjoyable parts?
It is full covered with Earth Defense Force atmosphere, so those who have played the series before can fully enjoy the game. Since the game is made by oversesa company, so I wonder how big the change would be, but not changed much. Which has reasonably enjoyable content.
But, the bad place lead to lower rating.

What is the bad part?

First throughout the game it is unfriendly. There so many thing that we dont know whats going on on the system. In addition, the poor explanation is a problem.
Could you tell me some specific point?
First, we can not reverse the view changing method from left to right in the controller setting. Those who familiar with other games already will be harsh. Upside down can be done....why we cant do left right reverse....but question mark...
If they have think about upside down setting, its better to add left right reverse too.
Then, as we play the story mode, we dont know the timing to stop the game. We cant save anytime so we dont know when to switch off the console. Moreover, cleared stage in satage selection is confusing. After select difficulty and chapter on the lower left, even the mission in the chapter could be choose, but it just move on to upper right side, it would be hard to notice if you focus on lower left. While playing till to the middle part, I still could not notice mission could be choose.
Even the user manual only have chapter selection written on it.
There also many problems in the online mode.
I think it is one of the highlights of this game?
It is fun to play with other players, but the setting is difficult. Particularly, it is severe that you can not set difficulty when you join in. Since the difficulty could not set, player who could only clear low difficulty forced to challenge high difficulty, on the other hand player who wish to play in high difficulty result in playing low difficulty level.
The matching is not going well...
Thats fine if we still have some experience from it, regardless of online and offline, high level player could not have any experience from playing low difficulty, just a waste of time.
That makes game play itself meaningless.....
There are many other, too many part are unfriendly which makes me stressed out over the game....
The problem occurs outside of main chapter of the game is regrettable.
However, it is true that the game nature would be change with or with out those part.
So the problem is this about?

Ohhh really....
There some sound bugs and freeze problem. In addition, the volume is small overall, so even the online mode is lack of excitement. If there more contents, the game is worth recommending to people, absolutely regrettable.

I cant really say it is a good game, but it might be enough for a comfortable game enjoyment. Try playing it stresslessly. Particularly for playstation user, it is the title long time out of the latest series.

El Shaddai Review

El Shaddai Review
I had cleared PS3 and Xbox360's El Shaddai. So here is the review.
You have played that huh.
This game had been HOT among Japan Internet since 10 months before launch. How about that?
I never expect it is such a GAME. Be honest, really GREAT.
Wow, that good huh.
It's an action game, but the world setting is huge and the visual is overpowering.ゲAny one scene could be some kind of art, the developer really got a sense.
The graphic aspect you mean?
Graphic is one thing, and they've got a sense of humor too. That depends on users' sensation, so may not be a merit though.
How about the gameplay? You said it is an action game.
Well, just repeat evade or defense from enemy's attack and kill them. There are 3 types of weapon, you need to use them according to the types of enemy. You can take away weapon from enemy or pick up from the field..
Need to remember the types huh.
There are tricks which can visualize the types so not a problem. And you need to pass through various traps on the field. And some weapons can help you go through some traps, so weapon types matter here too. Many games would game over once you fall into a trap, but this game only the armor gauge would decrease and you can challenge the trap again easily. It would game over if the armor gauge become 0 though.
Huh.
Some fields are difficult to identify the altitude, that's a bad point. Well, that's related to the world setting. We can only watch our shadow to identify the landing point and jump through the path. As said, you can challenge at the point you failed easily, so not that stressful.
Just the same as other games huh.
There is a special system for game over. When your armor gauge become 0, you're dead, but you can resurrect by pushing the button frequently. If you die too much, you need to push more button within certain time, but you could still resurrect so even boss can be killed by your effort. Enemy in the later part is not that easy though.
Any other interesting points?
Many cut scenes. That maybe necessary for showing the world, but not all people would like that.
The problem of balance huh. Too much movie would make it like a compulsory activity.
And the music really match the world. This is why it got HOT before launch.
Many beautiful tracks.
Some people may avoid original game, but this really worth playing. Even though you are not so familiar with action game, you can clear it if you have played Mario. It has an EASY MODE too. Let's play at a large TV and dark room to enjoy the world.
